10 Steps for Starting your own Online Tarot Business


Step 1: Check with your state to see if there are any licenses you may need to start your business.

Step 2: Register for Taxes. In order to register for taxes, you will need to apply for an EIN. It's really easy and free!

Step 3: Open a business bank account. You do not want to mix your personal assets with your business.

Step 4: Make sure you have a clear and quiet workspace if you are working from home.

Step 5: Make sure you have a tarot deck that you connect to and Make sure you are ready to read for people without having to look up meanings of cards.

Step 6: Make sure you are clear on what you are offering. Try to have at least 2-3 different tarot readings that you offer.

Step 7: Choose your price range. The best way to do this is to see what other tarot readers in your area are charging.

Step 8: Choose reliable payment methods. I personally use Zelle, CashApp and PayPal.

Step 9: Create your website. I recommend using Wix, Weebly or Vistaprint. I personally use Wix but you need to see what works for you.

Step 10: Set up online Marketing. The social media platforms that I find the most useful is Instagram and Facebook. However, there is a catch with Facebook. They limit your exposure so that you can by their advertising packages. I personally think your business should be on all platforms but again choose what works for you. My personal Favorite is Instagram, but I started on Facebook.
